Holds a PhD in economics at University of São Paulo (USP), being a member of the Regional and Urban Economics Lab at USP (NEREUS) and the Brazilian Research Network on Global Climate Change (Rede Clima). Master in Economic Theory at State University Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP). Bachelor’s degree in Economic Sciences at State University of Maringá (UEM).
She works in the projects "Natural capital accounting and valuation of ecosystem services", being a member of the team responsible for the Environmental Economic Accounting of Brazil for water, ecosystem, forest and biodiversity, under the coordination of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), "Input-output modeling, combining monetary and physical information on water production and use" (National Water Agency), “Sustainable Management of Natural Resources and Adaptation of Climate Change”, being a member of the team responsible for the Environmental Economic Accounting of Uruguay for agriculture, forestry and fishing, "New technologies applied to water resources" (Institute for Applied Economic Research (IPEA)), and in the project "The Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity (TEEB)”, being member of the team responsible for the Environmental Economic Accounting of Brazil for water, forests and energy, under the coordination of IBGE and other institutions. Economist at the International Institute for Sustainability (IIS).
