Julio Itacaramby
Focal point at GEF Áreas Privadas Project
Lawyer graduated from the Centro Universitário de Brasília (UniCEUB), technologist in environmental management from the University of the South of Santa Catarina (UNISUL) and postgraduate in biodynamic agriculture from the University of Uberaba (UNIUBE). Julio also has complementary training in Payment for Environmental Services at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and was selected by the Semeia Institute scholarship program for training in Tourism Management in Protected Areas by the State University of Colorado (CSU) in partnership with the United States Forest Service (USFS).
Has experience as visitors´ local driver and consultant in environmental projects for the management of protected areas in the Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park , where he is also director of AVE - Association of Friends of Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park and Citizen Award Alto Paraíso de Goiás honorary for the services provided by the community.
