Melissa Panhol Bayma

Project and Research Assistant

Melissa is a student of Biological Sciences at the University of Brasília (UnB). She was an intern at the Department of Protected Areas of the Ministry of the Environment (DAP / MMA) and also at the National Center for Biodiversity Assessment and Research and Conservation of the Cerrado of the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (CBC / ICMBio). She has professional experience in projects in the areas of biodiversity and sustainability, assisting in the preparation of reports, spreadsheets and contacts with partners.

As Research Assistant at the International Institute for Sustainability, assists the execution of the Interface Science-Decision Making course of the Professional Master in Sustainability Science, from the Department of Geography and Environment at PUC Rio, linked to the Science Center for Conservation and Sustainability in Rio (CSRio). In addition, she will act in the support and technical management of research with fundraising, project management, formulation and follow up of partnerships.
