We promote the transition from the traditional agricultural practices to a more sustainable land management, helping to mitigate climate change and guaranteeing the future of the next generations.

Economic Analysis

We seek to strengthen and defend the basic principles of balance between the economy and the environment, favoring research, planning and management in public and private fields, linked to the relationship between ecological, social and economic systems, in order to improve social well-being.

Policies

We assist in the formulation of policies aimed at sustainability, as well as the implementation of practical actions, working in partnership with public sector bodies and other organizations.

Spatial intelligence

Through landscape modeling and monitoring, we identify the patterns and trends of social and ecological systems, supporting decision makers through quantitative statistics and mapped scenarios.

Matheus Jorge Cervasio

Junior communication analyst

Matheus Jorge Cervasio is graduated in Product Design from PUC-Rio. Together with AGIR (Innovation Agency of the Federal Fluminense University) and a team of students, we developed the Startup Reciclotron (cnpq Pibiti extension project) that has been operating since 2019 in the area of ​​solid waste management, gamification and conscious consumption.
It also participates in research and development, through the Artificial Intelligence Notice - 2020 Faperj of the project - Connecting Science, Innovation and Artificial Intelligence: construction of a smart city model that mitigates environmental impacts through organic waste composting.

At IIS works as a Design Assistant, performing visual communication demands, such as supporting the development of materials and graphic documents for IIS and its projects (posts for social networks, newsletter, layout of technical reports, Power Point presentations, etc.);
