Tatiana Botelho
Strategic Coordinator
Tatiana is an environmental engineer, graduated from Cornell University, with an MBA from PUC-Rio and a PhD in energy planning from UFRJ. She has over 25 years’ experience in sustainable production, environmental assessment, community forest management, and impact investment in Latin America.
Throughout her career, she has collaborated with major corporations, multilateral agencies such as the International Fund for Agricultural Development, and international philanthropic organisations including the Climate and Land Use Alliance and the Good Energies Foundation.
She currently divides her time between IIS and Instituto Guayí Ventures, a philanthropic organisation she co-founded which supports innovative start-ups focused on the sustainable transformation of the productive system. In addition, she is engaged in reforestation and agroforestry whenever possible.
