Artur Malecha
Sustainability Analyst
Artur is a biologist, holding a degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), a master’s degree in Ecology from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), and is currently a doctoral candidate in Ecology at UFRJ. His research focuses on the impacts of climate change on biodiversity, the future effects of fire, and the impacts of land-use and land-cover change on the provision of ecosystem services. His main methodological expertise lies in ecosystem services modelling, spatial analysis using GIS, and literature syntheses employing meta-analytical approaches.
