Global congruence of carbon storage and biodiversity in terrestrial ecosystems
IIS coordinated the first high-resolution study to map and analyse global patterns of biodiversity and carbon stocks distribution. The main goal was to investigate potential synergies between carbon and biodiversity-oriented conservation.
