Stella Manes
Biodiversity Leader
Stella is a biologist, with a bachelor's and master's degree from the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) and a doctorate in Ecology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). At IIS, Stella works as a researcher specializing in biodiversity conservation. His main line of research is dedicated to the impact of climate change, land use changes and nature-based solutions on ecosystems, especially ecosystem services and biodiversity. His main methodological domain comprises literature syntheses and meta-analytical approaches, spatial analyzes in a GIS environment and modeling of ecosystem services.
